Biography

Welcome to my webpage! I’m a PhD candidate in Economics at the Zurich Graduate School of Economics (University of Zurich). I hold a MSc and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bologna. I visited Princeton University in the Spring 2024, hosted by Professor Gianluca Violante.

I am on the 2024-25 academic job market.

My research interests are in Macroeconomics and Labor Economics. In my research I study the factors that prevent economies from achieving full employment and how governments can intervene to address them.

Macroeconomic analysis for the project “Evaluation of Corona Short-Time Work”, funded by the Austrian Ministry of Labor and Economy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development and structural estimation of a search-and-matching model of the Austrian labor market
  • Estimate of the number of jobs saved by the Austrian Corona Short-Time Work program
